What you need to take the exam
Your official EPA 608 exam is taken online from home, watched by a live ProctorU proctor. Before you buy, make sure you have:
- A Windows 10 or newer PC, or a Mac with macOS 11 or newer. Phones, tablets, and Chromebooks won’t work.
- A webcam, microphone, and speakers. The ones built into most laptops are fine. Headphones generally aren’t allowed.
- The free ProctorU Guardian Browser, installed on that computer before exam day. Some work computers block new software, so use one you can install it on.
- Internet of at least 3 Mbps and a single monitor.
Not sure your computer qualifies? Run ProctorU’s free system check before you buy, or see the full equipment list.
Your exam is included. This bundle includes all four Section 608 courses, the practice exams, and your official proctored exam with up to 3 attempts. You don’t need to buy Exam Only. The exam is closed-book, so review the course and practice exams before you schedule. A PDF of the book is included.
